I was born in El Salvador, but I'm currently based in Madrid. I've loved illustrated books ever since I can remember. I used to watch my father while he worked at his drawing table on design and
illustration projects, and I learned from him discipline and passion for work.
I got my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at the Dr. José Matías Delgado University in San Salvador in 2008, and later i moved to Madrid, where I took some Illustration
courses at ESDIP and then joined in 2012 the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at i con i.
As a graphic designer, my work experience goes through advertising, branding, typography, and layout, although currently I'm focused mainly on illustration projects. You
can read my full CV here.
These are a few things I love: "old" music, beagles, autumn season, blue and turquoise colors, learning foreign languages,
travelling, eating pizza and cake, drinking tea and coffee (not at the same time), collecting illustrated books, playing Scrabble, windy and rainy days, Christmas, spending time with family and
friends, and the salvadoran sunsets.
