I was born in El Salvador, but I'm currently based in Madrid. I've loved illustrated books ever since I can remember. I used to watch my father while he worked at his drawing table on design and
illustration projects, and I learned from him discipline and passion for work.
I got my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at the Dr. José Matías Delgado University in San Salvador, and then I worked for a couple of years in advertising. In 2007 I
made a stage as a spanish language assistant in a Lycée in Normandy, France; a year later i moved to Madrid, where I took some Illustration courses at ESDIP and then joined in 2012
the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at i con i. Along with my amazing and talented master's mates we created the collective The Illustration Gang.
As a graphic designer, my work experience goes through advertising, branding, typography, and layout, although currently I'm focused mainly on illustration projects. You

These are a few things I love: "old" music, beagles, autumn season, blue and turquoise colors, learning foreign languages,
traveling, eating pizza and cake, collecting illustrated books and playing Scrabble. If you have any inquiries, you may reach me through
